The P Bass is one of the best basses you'll ever find.
It has two knobs, volume and tone, 20 frets, it's made of alder, the neck's made of maple, with either rosewood or maple fingerboard and comes with nice strings.
The sound is awesome. It's bright, but has amazing lows and if you get an average of these two, you'll have a nice agressive sound with lots of punch. It's balanced, and nice for pick, fingerstyle and even slap. Although it's good for many types of music, the Squier P Bass is not that versatile, and it doesn't give you the freedom of options you can get on a Fender P Bass or a Jazz Bass, but the sound is fantastic and you'll hardly find trouble in finding your tone. It's strong and agressive, perfect for rock.""
