The Hohner D6 Clavinet is an electronically amplified clavichord. Its distinctive bright staccato sound is commonly found in funk, disco, rock, and reggae songs including, notably, Stevie Wonder's "Superstitious". The 60 keys which strike the 60 associated strings with a rubber tipped mallet, give it a five-octave range from F0 to E5.
